Why a Solo Plan Was Never Going to Be Enough

Equipment Tracker Pro started as a tool for one technician to stop losing nameplate photos and maintenance histories between phones. But almost every property manager and HVAC contractor who reached out asked the same question: what about my crew? A property with twelve buildings isn't maintained by one person, and a maintenance history only helps if the whole crew can see it and update it as they work.

Team plans solve that directly. One subscription now covers the whole team, and everyone works against the same equipment records, the same PM schedules, and the same maintenance history. Nobody needs a separate subscription, and nobody's data sits in its own disconnected account.

What a Team Member Can Actually Do

Every invited member gets one of three roles, set by the account owner and changeable at any time:

• ▸ Viewer — a trainee. Read-only access across your workspace's equipment, parts, maintenance logs, building details, and reports, with invoices hidden. Cannot change anything.
• ▸ Tech — can create, edit, and delete equipment, parts, maintenance logs, inventory, tools, and PM schedules, and create and assign work orders. Cannot see invoices, delete work orders, or change a building's profile details or tenants.
• ▸ Manager — everything a Tech can do, plus building profile details and tenants, invoices and payments, deleting work orders, and revoking pending invites. Only the owner can invite, remove, or change the role of a member.

What It Costs

Team plans start at $39.99/month for 5 seats — you plus 4 members. That price replaces your $9.99/month solo plan rather than stacking on top of it. Bigger crews step up in blocks of 5 seats, $40.00/month a block: 10 seats for $79.99/month, 15 for $119.99, up to 50 seats for $399.99/month.

There's no per-seat haggling and no enterprise sales call. Pick the tier that covers your crew size now, and upgrade or add seats later, when you actually need them.

How to Upgrade

From the web dashboard, go to the Upgrade page (the See team plans button on the Team screen goes straight there), pick the number of seats you need, and confirm. If you are already a Solo Pro subscriber on Stripe, this upgrades your subscription in place — no double billing and no separate subscription to manage. After that, invite team members from the Team screen. Each invite comes with a code, and the code expires in 48 hours if nobody uses it.

Note: App Store and Google Play subscriptions are billed directly through Apple or Google. A Team plan bought on the web through Stripe covers both web and mobile for every invited member.

Does upgrading to Team cancel my current Solo subscription?

You don't have to cancel anything — upgrading swaps your existing subscription over to the Team plan. You're never billed for both at once.

Can I change a team member's role after inviting them?

Yes, from the Team Members panel at any time — role changes take effect immediately.

What happens to my data if I remove a team member?

They lose access straight away, and the copy of your data on their phone is wiped. Your data itself is untouched — it lives under your account, not theirs.

Is there a free trial for Team plans?

Yes — the same 7-day free trial as Solo applies if you haven't had a subscription with us before.
