How It Works
Open any equipment record in the app and tap SCAN INVOICE. Point your camera at any service invoice, work order, or receipt — printed or handwritten. The image is sent securely to Google's Gemini AI, which reads and extracts the structured data: service date, technician name, service type, parts used, labor hours, materials cost, work order number, and a description of the work performed.
Within seconds, a pre-filled maintenance log entry appears on screen. Review it, make any corrections, tap Save Service Log, and you're done. The entire record — including the original invoice photo — is attached to that piece of equipment permanently.
What Gets Extracted
The AI is trained to find and categorize the following fields from any service document: date of service (formatted as MM/DD/YYYY), technician or company name, service type (automatically classified as PM, repair, inspection, install, or emergency), a plain-English description of the work performed, a comma-separated list of parts and materials used, total invoice cost, work order or job number, labor hours, and materials cost broken out separately from labor.
If a field isn't clearly present on the document, it's left blank rather than guessed — keeping your records clean and accurate.

A Note on Accuracy

Always review the pre-filled data before saving. The review screen shows exactly what was extracted so you can catch and correct anything before it goes into your records.
